Kinder Bueno Brownies

You caught me! I got so excited about these brownies that I had to share them before I had a chance to develop my blog… BUT of course the recipe is ready for you! Go ahead, bake them and enjoy them… but more photos and baking tips will be coming soon.

 

I promise that baking tips for the Kinder Bueno brownies are coming soon!! Give the recipe a go, I’d like to say it’s pretty fool-proof, but you can check out my other brownie recipes to see some of my general brownie tips.

 

Kinder Bueno Brownies!

Ingredients

  • 140g unsalted butter
  • 250g golden granulated sugar
  • 50g light brown sugar
  • 75g cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 60g plain flour
  • 3 Kinder Bueno packets (6 bars in total)
  • 2 Kinder Chocolate Bars

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 150C and grease an 8" square tin with greaseproof paper/non-stick paper.
  • Measure out the butter (140g), sugar (300g), cocoa (75g), and salt into a bowl. Put the bowl in the microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring at each break, until the mixture has melted and slightly warmed.
  • Leave to cool and then mix in 2 eggs.
  • Fold in the flour (60g) until fully combined.
  • Pour into your lined tin and press 6 individual Kinder Chocolate bars into the brownie mixture, then sprinkle in chopped up Kinder Chocolate Bars.
  • Bake for 30 minutes and leave to cool fully before cutting into. I know it can be hard to resist them, but letting them cool is so worth it so you can reap the rewards of a fully developed fudge-like texture.

    Notes:

    • These brownies will last for 4+ days at room temperature or in the fridge.

    • I use a square baking tin like this.

    • You can use white granulated sugar instead of golden granulated, but golden granulated sugar takes these brownies to another level of fudgey, gooey heaven.
